Hi! I am Kensuke Arakawa, a (non-TT) assistant professor at RIMS, Kyoto University. People usually call me Ken.

I am broadly interested in the interaction of homotopy theory and category theory. I am especially interested in techniques to analyze higher structures from more accesible ones, such as localization, model categories, and functor calculus. I am also interested in applying these techniques to studying manifolds.
